New Kam Man (Kam Man Food) was founded in the early 1970s on 200 CANAL ST. NY10013. It was first and largest Asian supermarket in New York City Manhattan's Chinatown. Originally established to promote Asian food culture, Kam Man has been a bedrock of the local Chinese community, helping it flourish while maintaining a key gastronomical link to their Chinese heritage.
In the post 9/11 years, along with the economic transformation of Chinatown, Kam Man has evolved into the destination for all things Asian including specialty snacks and a full range of brand name gifts, kitchenware, and appliances. Our centrally located store is commonly known as the "Gateway to the Orient", bringing the atmosphere and immersive ambiance of Asia to all who visit.
